We will think/learn to think about our reading, developing strategies to understand fiction and nonfiction texts.

Your student's reading fluency/accuracy and comprehension will be assessed 2x this year via TRC and NWEA MAP.
Reading Level Goals @ 2nd Grade, End Of Year: LEVEL M (TRC) / 189.7 (NWEA MAP)
Please work with your student every night - he or she should read, or be read to, at least 20 minutes/night.
Children who read (or are read to by a family member) at least 3x a week are twice as likely to score in the top 25% of reading.
